Thomas Everett Harrison, 74, of Ogden, Utah, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.

Born on March 18, 1952, in Bozeman, Montana, Tom was the son of Robert and Eleanor Harrison. He graduated from Montana State University and dedicated more than three decades to teaching history, inspiring thousands of students with his patience, kindness, and passion for learning.

Tom married the love of his life, Linda, in 1976. Together they built a home centered on faith, laughter, and family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who rarely missed a soccer game, school concert, or family gathering.

Outside the classroom, Tom enjoyed fly fishing, woodworking, tending his garden, and exploring the mountains with those he loved. His calm spirit, steady wisdom, and quiet sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; his children Michael (Emily), Sarah (David), and Benjamin (Rachel); eight cherished grandchildren; and his sister, Carol Jensen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eleanor Harrison, and his brother, James Harrison.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at A.E. Sonzini Mortuary. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 11, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at South Morgan Cemetery in Morgan, Utah.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and hospice staff whose compassion and kindness brought comfort during Tom's final months.
